LEWISTON – Joan J. Pease, 74, a resident of Packard Road, Monmouth, died Tuesday, April 24, at Central Maine Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 23, 1932, in Lewiston, the daughter of Abraham and Lenora Jewell Marsden.
She attended grade school in Monmouth and went to Monmouth Academy.
On Aug. 10, 1963, she married Arthur L. Pease in Bartlett, N.H.
She was a homemaker and mom. Many years ago, she worked as a CNA at the Augusta State Hospital. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading, genealogy, her flower and vegetable gardens, and her animals, especially her cats.
She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, having worked blood drives, flower sales, golf tournaments and fundraising after 9/11. She also volunteered at the Good Shepherd Food-Bank in Auburn and the Pals Animal Shelter in East Winthrop.
She is survived by her loving family.
