LISBON – Kevin Jon Curtis, 48, of Pinewoods Road in Lisbon, died unexpectedly but peacefully, Tuesday, April 24.

He was born in Gardiner, July 22, 1958, the son of Gordon and Louise Paradis Curtis.

He was educated in Lisbon schools.

He was presently employed at L.L. Bean and previously worked in Lisbon for the Dingley Press and the Harvest House. He was also employed at Maine Electronics, LA Music Factory and Dairy Maid of Lisbon Falls.

He was one of the area’s softball greats, having played for the Lisbon Adult Co-Ed and Lewiston and Brunswick leagues, proudly wearing the number 24. He also enjoyed bowling, coaching the LJAL and recreation leagues and was a passionate member of the Lisbon School PTO. He was a loving father, spending many hours with his two daughters.

He is survived by his companion, Darlene Hersom; his two daughters, Tatiana and Emma Curtis; his parents of Lisbon Falls; two sisters, Dee Langley of Scarborough and Sandi Dupre and her husband, David, of Standish; two brothers, Layne Curtis of Lisbon Falls and Steve Curtis and his wife, Lisa, of Lisbon Falls; and many nieces and nephews.
