On Easter weekend, my wife and I attended our first Maineiacs games ever as the team was playing Halifax. We had such a great time that we came back for the first two games against Rouyn.

The city of Lewiston should be very proud to be represented by the Maineiacs, an organization that spares no details to make “hockey night in Lewiston” an enjoyable and unique experience.

Very family-oriented, these events are a plus in any community, as people of all ages take pride in rooting for their team.

Make no mistake about it, the Lewiston Maineiacs are to hockey what Florida and Ohio State are to football.

Fans of the Maineiacs should enjoy every minute of the quest. The fans have already proven that they deserved a team, now the team is proving that it deserves the President’s Cup.

Bonne chance!

Long live the Maineiacs.
