MECHANIC FALLS – Lauralee Thibeault, beloved wife and mother, died Thursday, April 26, at her home in Mechanic Falls after a long illness.
She was born March 31, 1952, in Lewiston, the daughter of Charles and Helen Walker Rowe.
Laura attended Mechanic Falls schools and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1970 and Andover Business College. She worked at Liberty Mutual for 12 years until her son, Matt, was born in 1984.
Laura especially enjoyed her work in spirituality.
Favorite times were playing with her grandchildren and family get-togethers, snowmobiling, ATVing, collecting angels and caring for stray cats. She felt blessed with good family and good friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years and best friend, Alban “Joe” Thibeault, of Mechanic Falls; her son, Matthew Thibeault and his fiancée, Hope Priola, of Poland; grandchildren, Haley Levasseur Thibeault, and Lily Thibeault; step-grandchildren, Dominic and Kiernan Priola; her wonderful and caring brother, Charles H. Rowe Jr., of Texas; nieces, Brookie, Heather and Jadie of Texas; mother-in-law, Alice Thibeault of Auburn; sisters-in-law, Vicki Thibeault of Augusta, and Julie Ames of Poland; special friends, Sandy Smith of Mechanic Falls, and Stacey Harry of Waterford, Calif.
She was predeceased by her parents; and her twin brother, Larry.
She wanted to thank all her friends for their support in the form of hugs, food and loving energy; also her Androscoggin Hospice team.
