McMahon Elementary School students of Lewiston have been collecting quarters for the March of Dimes Prematurity Campaign. Top winner was grade four, Sara Gaudin’s class; runner-up, grade six, Amanda Ray’s class; and third, grade five, Eric Beaulieu’s class. All students were given a personal certificate from the March of Dimes and a pizza party. Students were invited to join Walk America at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 6, beginning at Central Maine Medical Center’s parking garage. Students are pictured with their classroom teachers, Principal Althea Walker and Assistant Principal Shawn Chabot.
