The library is located on 15 Elm Street in Mechanic Falls. The library is a perfect place to go if you are bored, want to get out of the house for something to do, learn, have fun, do homework, etc….

Library cards are free to Mechanic Falls residents only. Children may get a card once entering kindergarten. For non-residents out of Mechanic Falls that would be a charge of five dollars per year, but can be used for the whole family.

You may take a book out for a period of two weeks at a time and if you would like to renew a book you may do so over the phone or in person.

A computer is also available for public use with Internet connection.

If anybody would like to make any book donations to the library you may do so by just dropping them off… Any kind of books, used, old, new, big, small, red or blue, any type. They have them all!

The library hours are Monday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Wednesday, 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
