PARIS – Central Maine Community College’s Western Maine Center in South Paris will hold its first of two summer sessions from May 14 to July 9. Session II classes will be held July 10 to Aug. 29.

Each course carries three college credits, which can be applied to a degree or certificate program at Central Maine Community College or another accredited college or university.

“This is a great way for students who are either home from college for the summer or just beginning college in the fall, to acquire some credits toward their degree, and at a very reasonable cost,” said Barbara Livingston, CMCC’s Western Maine College Center coordinator.

The decision about whether course credits can be applied to a specific program, degree or college must be made by the accepting institution.
