For the second year in a row, the LMS Civil Rights Team will be sponsoring a World Café on Friday, May 11, 2007. The World Café is a great way to celebrate diversity here at LMS. Students, staff, and community members have the opportunity to perform cultural acts and read poetry based around this year’s theme, “Building a Strong Community.” You, yes you, the reader, could be part of this World Café by reading some poetry or performing an act from your culture. Food from many different cultures and parts of the world will be available for you to sample. Please join LMS and the Civil Rights Team for the World Café from 5:30 to 8:00 PM on May 11.
