Town office, transfer station schedules to change
The Scoop: Town Hall no longer will stay open late on Wednesdays following Monday closures due to holidays, Town Manager Richard Chick said. Traffic on Wednesday nights usually is too light to justify the staffing costs, he said.

From June 1 to Sept. 30, the facility will be open Friday through Monday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. During fall and winter, however, the facility will revert to its current schedule of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Monday.
