Gorham centennial

GORHAM, N.H. – The Centennial Celebration Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10, in the Research Room, Gorham Public Library. An update on the progress of getting passenger train rides for the 100th anniversary of the Gorham Grand Trunk Railway Station will be given.

The committee will also be updated on the outreach to classic and antique cars owners. A model railroad show will be held that day, Saturday, Aug. 11, in the American Legion Hall. There are many other activities being planned.

The committee needs volunteers to be responsible for children’s games, face painting and other activities.

Class meeting

RUMFORD – Men and women of the Stephens High School Class of 1952 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 7, at the River Valley Grill, Exchange Street.

All members of the class are welcome.
