LEWISTON – Registrations are continuing for the The Andy Valley Softball Umpires’ Association’s Benefit Tournament set for June 8-10 in Lewiston-Auburn. Rain dates are June 15-17.

This ASA slow pitch tourney will be separated into two divisions. One bracket will include Class C teams, and the other Class D clubs.

Entry fee is $190. Money orders can be made out to Andy Valley Umpires and sent to Tony Gowell, P.O. Box 520, Sabattus, Me. 04280 (telephone 375-6540), or Tim Lare, 225 Seventh St., Auburn, Me. 04210 (783-2987).

Proceeds from the benefit tourney will go for local scholarships.

Female players sought

BRUNSWICK – The Brunswick Women’s Softball League is seeking additional players. Eligible are those 16 and older.
