ANDOVER – A service celebrating the life of Muriel Jean Swasey was held Friday at First Congregational Church in Andover. The Rev. Jane Rich officiated. The organist was Linda Dyer. Music selections were “Precious Memories,” “This is My Father’s World,” “I’ll Meet You in the Morning,” and “In the Garden.”

Readings read by Wayne Jones were “Mom’s Gift,” and “To an Old Friend.” “The Wardens Wife” was read by Warden Rick Mills.

Committal prayers were at Woodlawn Cemetery.

A reception followed at her son Steven’s home. Relatives and friends may pay tribute to Muriel at www.mem.com. Services were under the care of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
