DANVILLE – The wedding of Christina Mae Sands and Joshua Caleb Perkins was held at 5 p.m. on Sept. 2 at the Danville Union Church. Beth Keating, minister, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Perkins is the daughter of Debra Mae Sands of Auburn and Michael Eugene Sands of Greene. Mr. Perkins is the son of Marge Perkins of Auburn and Samuel Perkins of Greensboro, N.C.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless gown and carried a bouquet of white daisies.

Shannon Lynn Brady, best friend, was matron of honor, and Jake Perkins, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Samuel Perkins, son of the couple, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Carriage House, after which the couple traveled to Bar Harbor. They are residing in Auburn.
