RUMFORD – Funeral services for Dorothy June Stearns were conducted Friday at the Rumford Point Congregational Church, with the Rev. Franklin Haines officiating. Organist was Lynn Ramsey. Music selections included “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Amazing Grace.” Special music selections were “If You Get There Before I Do” and “When I Get To Where I Am Going.” Words of remembrance were by Jeff Tucker – “Story About June,” Shanna Westleigh – “Grandmother,” Erin Stearns – “What Is A Grandmother” and Denise Bender – “Miss Me But Let Me Go.” Pallbearers were Jeffrey Smith, Cory Stearns, Adam Stearns, Eric Westleigh, Brian Gross, Gary Clement, Wally Hamlin and Jeff Tucker. A reception followed the services at Blazing Star Masonic Lodge, Rumford Corner. Committal services were conducted Saturday at the Rumford Corner Cemetery, with the Rev. Haines officiating. Special music selection “In The Garden,” was sung by Rebecca Redman. A reception followed the committal at the Blazing Star Masonic Lodge, Rumford Corner. Funeral arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
