LEWISTON – Marjorie R. McFadden, 84, formerly of Schooner Estates, died Sunday, May 6, at Marshwood Nursing Facility.

She was born in Lewiston on May 12, 1922, a daughter to the late James and Marguerite (Snow) Robertson. She was educated in local schools and was a graduate of Edward Little High School, Class of 1940, and graduated from Becker College in 1942.

She served her country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After the service she married the love of her life C. William McFadden. He predeceased her in 1975. She was a member of the High Street Congregrational Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially playing cards.

She leaves a son, William W. McFadden of Hampstead, N.H.; a daughter, Kathy Archibald of Lewiston; four grandchildren, William C. McFadden, and his wife, Jessica, of Atkinson, N.H., Michael and Kimberly Archibald of Lewiston and Kandice Sage of Jonesville N.C.; a great-grandchild, Tyler McFadden; a sister, Jane Grass, and her husband, Calvin, of Sebago Lake; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

She was predeased by two brothers, Kenneth and James Robertson; and a sister, Shirley Eve.
