Society supper
FARMINGTON – The Farmington Historical Society will meet on Monday, May 14, at the Henderson Memorial Baptist Church. There will be a potluck supper at 6 p.m., followed by a business meeting and program at 7. The program, “The History of Farmington Masonry,” will be presented by John Frary. New members and guests are welcome.
Lunch canceled
FARMINGTON – The May Community Luncheon at Old South First Congregational Church is canceled due to scheduling difficulties.
The next luncheon will be held Saturday, June 9, and will be the now-traditional end-of-the-year cookout. Menu will include hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage with onion and peppers, coleslaw and pie.
Turkey supper
RANGELEY – The fourth annual public turkey supper, sponsored by the Mission Board of the Rangeley Congregational Church-UCC, High Street, will be held Saturday, May 26, at “The Barn.” Serving will start at 5 p.m. and continue until sold out.
The dinner will include turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, rolls, peas and pies, sit-in or take-out for $7, adults; $3, children under 12.
