PARIS – Northeast Academy of Dance-South Paris Co. teams performed at the Dancer’s Inc. Regional Competition on April 28 in South Portland.
NE Dance Method, jazz performance team, and Adrenaline, hip-hop performance team, competed four routines against dance studios from all over Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
The competition at South Portland High School auditorium resulted in South Paris dancers winning two gold trophies and two silver trophies.
On Sunday, company members participated in classes in all forms of dance, including ballet, tap, hip hop and jazz. All classes were taught by nationally accredited dance instructors.
NEAD South Paris Co. members include Danielle Martin, Abigail Simmons, Mariah Colby, Taylor Parsons, Alissa Parsons, McKenzie Merrill, Brynn O’Conner, Lindsay Redgate, Kira Szalma, Tika Ward, Erika Fujimaki, Kaleigh Freitas and Kyli LaBrecque.
Director Michelle Keyes and Assistant Director Tyler Wing have expressed their pride in the girls’ performances, work and dedication.
