In all, 220 sophomore projects were judged on scientific methodology, record keeping and presentation by teachers, Bates College students and members of the business community. Temple’s project compared how the size of a magnetic field relates to the size of a magnet. First, second, third place and honorable mention will be announced Monday morning, organizer Laurie Haines said.
