Transfer station stickers
The scoop: The council voted to cut the cost of stickers for users of the transfer station from $10 to $5 a year. The town received $16,000 in revenue from its recycling program. The reduction was a way for the council to reward residents’ recycling efforts by returning most of the savings to them.
Up next: Stickers for the fiscal year beginning July 1 are available at the town office.
