RUMFORD – Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Carey of Rumford are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Ede, to Robert Vincent Rosenthal, son of Joseph and Patricia Rosenthal of Walpole, Mass.
Ms. Carey graduated from Mountain Valley High School in 1997 and from Bates College in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. In 2005 she earned a master’s degree in corporate communications from Boston University College of Communications. She currently works for Sappi Fine Paper North America as the manager of corporate communications and is simultaneously pursing a master’s degree from Northeastern University.
The future bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in English from Bates College in 2001. In December of 2006 he received a master’s degree from Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Management. He is currently employed as the investor relations associate for Sappi Limited.
An August wedding in Bethel is planned.
