AUBURN – The Auburn Public Library will celebrate spring in style at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 31, with an English Tea and Antique Style show in the library’s Androscoggin Community Room.
The annual fundraising event will feature period fashions from the 1800s through 1900s. Those who attend will have an English Tea featuring finger sandwiches, cakes and sweets, and a variety of teas.
Annual Fund Chairwoman Barbara Randall will provide commentary. Members of the English Tea and Style Show Committee include Randall, Tonie Ramsey, Mary McMahon, Beverley Heath and Ellie Cummings.
Volunteers have helped provide food and drink for the show.
Tickets for the tea and show are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and are available at the circulation desk.
