LEWISTON – Geralda J. Plourde, 89, of Lewiston, passed away after a brief illness on May 10, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.

She was born in Lewiston on Feb. 15, 1918, the daughter of Auguste and Delina Ouellette Plourde. She was educated in Lewiston schools. She worked as a bobbin changer at the Bates Mill prior to retirement. She also enjoyed working parttime at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She is survived one sister, Georgette Gosselin of Lewiston; a brother, Gaston Plourde, and his wife, Irene, of Auburn and Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Auguste Plourde; and two sisters, Marie Rose Perrier and Blandine Perrier.
