WOODSTOCK – Community Service Day was observed on April 21 at the Franklin Grange Hall, Main Street.

The Community Citizens Award was presented to Ellie Andrews of Bryant Pond and Bethel for all the things she has done to help and enrich her community. She is the daughter of the late Stanley and Gertrude Andrews and niece of Lenwood and the late Hazel Andrews.

The award was presented by Harold and Millie Parsons, assistant and lady assistant stewards of the Maine State Grange.

A proclamation from the National Grange president was read by Bertha DeHaas. Lisa Floster of West Paris presented a majorette performance. Music was provided by the Grange Band. A luncheon was served downstairs afterward.
