LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating a break-in at a Knapp Street residence between 10 p.m. Monday and 6:20 a.m. Tuesday.
Entry was gained through an unlocked door. Someone apparently went through the house and took a woman’s pocketbook, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.
The pocketbook was found outside near a woodpile with contents dumped on the ground, he said. Nothing appeared to be missing, he said.
