How nice has it been to enjoy two straight weeks of Saturday afternoon Red Sox baseball without the bells and whistles and McCarvers of FOX?

NHL: Senators at Sabres, Game 5 2 p.m., Channel 6

What incentive does the casual NHL fan without Versus have to tune in for this one knowing that if there’s a Game 6 and 7 they’ll be sucked back into that black hole of television.

PGA: AT&T Classic 3 p.m., Channel 13

Greg Norman designed the host course, the TPC Sugarloaf. Bet it’s not as scenic as our own Sugarloaf. Come on, this one’s in Duluth.

WNBA: Monarchs at Shock 3:30 p.m., Channel 8

Um, yeah, so who has some good early bird specials this weekend?
