Safety expo
LEWISTON – A public safety health expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 26, at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St.
Activities will include family and friends CPR training (includes book); emergency vehicle displays; public safety displays; “Guard-A-Kid” identification vendor; and blood pressure screening.
The event is being sponsored by United Ambulance Service. It is free and preregistration is not necessary. For more information, visit www.unitedambulance.com.
Legion to install
LISBON FALLS – Nelson-Coney Post 66, American Legion, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, at the Slovak Meeting Room, Avery Street.
The agenda will be restricted to continuous membership awards and installation of 2007-08 officers. All members, prospective members and active-duty personnel are invited. Light refreshments will be available after the meeting.
