GI – protest film

FARMINGTON – “Sir, No Sir,” a film documentary portraying the GI resistance movement during the Vietnam War, will be shown at 7 p.m. Monday, June 4, at Thomas Auditorium, University of Maine at Farmington, High Street.

The film focuses on soldier rebellions within the Army, confrontations by soldiers in uniform against the war, and Jane Fonda’s and Donald Sutherland’s FTA tour.

The film is being screened as part of the monthly series by Western Mountains Peace Action Workshop. There is no admission, but donations will be accepted. For more information, call 652-2377.
