FARMINGTON – The Sandy River Players will present a children’s musical theater camp for children ages 8 to 13 this summer.

Directed by Christie Robinson, a UMF elementary education, music/theater graduate, the camp will take on “Annie Jr.” for its summer project. Children with all levels of experience are encouraged to participate.

Camp will run from June 25 through July 12, with performances July 13, 14 and 15. Hours will be 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday at the University of Maine at Farmington’s Alumni Theatre. Cost is $100 a child for the three weeks.

Auditions for roles will be held the first day of camp; children will learn about all aspects of musical theater, and all campers will receive a singing/speaking role. Major and minor roles are available for both boys and girls.

The camp is limited to 24 participants. If interested, contact Christie Robinson by e-mail at [email protected] or leave a message at 944-3685.
