AUBURN – Adrien N. Doyon, of Sabattus, died May 24, at the Hospice House in Auburn.
Born in Lewiston, Feb. 9, 1923, he was the son of Napoleon and Marie-Anne Lacasse Doyon. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart and Oak Leaf Cluster.
He was married May 28, 1949, to Carmen E. Simard. He was self-employed for 31 years as a mail contractor. He was a member of Holy Trinity Parish in Lisbon.
He is survived by one son, Norman and his wife, Lise Doyon, of Florida; two grandchildren, Christine and Paul; and one great-granddaughter, Eva Marie of Florida; five sisters, Jeannette Moore of Sabattus, Liane Deschamplain of Portland, Julie Bonsaint of Lisbon, Terry Lajoie of Lewiston and Simmone Racine and her husband, Emile, of Brunswick; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, Mary Blanche Doyon.
