Norway – Ann Cross, 82, of Bethel, died May 25, at the Stephens Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Rochester, N.Y., Sept. 12, 1924, the daughter of Harold L. and Lorraine K. (Pfaudler) Libby, and graduated from West Paris High School.

She had worked for “Voices for the Blind” for many years, and worked in the cafeteria at the Bisbee School in Bethel and as a librarian. She was a former Brownie and Girl Scout leader and had worked soldering for the military war effort.

She is survived by one daughter, Wendy Cross of Bethel; and one half sister, Shirley Lunt of Cranberry, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Duane E. Cross, in 1965; and a sister, Doris Pulkkinen.
