NORWAY – Irma A. Trundy, 85, of Hebron, died peacefully Thursday, May 24, at Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.
She was born March 27, 1922, in East Sumner, the daughter of Raymond and Stella Keene. She graduated from Buckfield High School in 1940. She married Robert A. Trundy on Jan. 31, 1941.
For many years she helped run her husband’s dairy farm in Hebron. She also worked as a housekeeper for several years at Hebron Academy. In her retirement, she and her husband enjoyed attending local fairs and baseball games. In the past, she attended the West Minot Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, bird-watching and cooking.
She is survived by four children, all of Hebron, a daughter, Arlene Doucette and husband, Ron, three sons, Ralph Trundy and wife, Diane, Michael Trundy and wife, Bonnie, and Dean Trundy and wife, Lori; six grandchildren, Peter Doucette and wife, Jeannine, Stacey Harris and husband, Lee, Robert Trundy and wife, Stacy, Anya Trundy, Ian Trundy and Dillon Trundy; five great-grandchildren, James and Matthew Doucette, Mason and Devon Harris, and Cade Trundy; a brother-in-law, Maynard Trundy and wife, Cynthia, of West Minot; a sister-in-law, Anna Trundy of Hebron; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, on May 28, 1993; a son, Ivan Trundy; a brother, Roland Keene; and a sister, Frances Wyman.
