FARMINGTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Amanda Tibbetts and Barry Thomas, both of Farmington.

Miss Tibbetts is the daughter of Rita Thomas of Farmington and Eugene R. Tibbetts of Farmington. She is a graduate of Livermore Falls Adult Education and is currently attending Andover College in Lewiston and plans to graduate in 2008 with an associate degree in medical assisting.

Mr. Thomas is the son of Anita and Bernard Thomas of Farmington. He is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington and is currently employed at K and K in Turner as a diesel mechanic.

The wedding is planned for June 23 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Union Methodist Church in Farmington. A reception will follow at the Elks Lodge in West Farmington.
