Anna Jones fishes for trout on Brettuns Pond in Livermore on Wednesday. Jones lives within walking distance of her fishing hole and said a lot of brook trout are pulled from the pond. “If the bellies are red, I keep them. And if the bellies are white, I throw them back,” said Jones. She said the state stocks the trout with white underneath.
