RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary M. MacFarlane was celebrated on Friday, May 25, at St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Alfred Jacques as celebrant. Altar assistant was George Gionet. Organist was Mark Belanger. Readings were given by Barbara Doherty and Anna Justard. Eulogy was given by James MacFarlane. Music included “Ave Maria” and ” Just A Closer Walk With Thee.” Special music “Amazing Grace” was performed by bagpiper, Raquel MacFarlane. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Jacques. Interment was at St. John Cemetery, Rumford. Special music ” Coming Home” and MacFarlane Lament” was performed at the cemetery by bagpiper MacFarlane. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home.
