SCARBOROUGH – Douglas Harmon, 44, of Scarborough, formerly of Windham, he died accidentally in a boating accident on May 28.

Doug was born on Dec. 4, 1962, in Portland, the son of Wayne and Meredith Harmon.

He graduated from Windham High School, 1982. He was known for his love of the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and especially spending time with his three children.

He was employed by Sign Design of Westbrook, as general manager at the time of his death. He was formerly employed at Nelson and Small as a warehouse foreman and a collections agent for the recreational division. He then went on to work for Bomibardi and TransAmerica as collection agent.

He is survived by his three children, Jared, 14, Timothy, 12 and Ashley, 8; his parents, Wayne and Meredith Harmon; his brother, Greg; sister-in-law, Annette; and two nieces, Megan and Danielle.

He will also be missed by his girlfriend, Jennifer Fortier and her three children.
