Jolene Lovejoy has been a great asset to Rumford. She has spent many hours through the years to make the town a better place.

A small group in town has spewed innuendos and lies about Lovejoy, but she has stood her ground. We need someone with backbone. One who will listen to all and not be led by a just a few.

The job of selectman can be thankless at times. It requires people willing to give up time with their families and friends, spend endless hours at meetings, and perform many hours of research. It is a job that many would not want.

I know that Lovejoy cares about Rumford, and that is why she is seeking re-election.

I am thankful that she is willing to give even more of her time to Rumford. For those reasons, I will support her and vote for her at the polls.
