AUBURN – Maurice P.B. Levesque, 67, of 5 Bartholomew St., Lisbon, died Sunday, May 27, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice with his family by his side.

He was born in Lewiston, Sept. 26. 1939, a son of the late Roger P. and Gertrude Montreuil Levesque. He was educated in Lewiston and Auburn schools and graduated from St. Dominic High School.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, and served during the Vietnam Conflict.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved spending time with family and friends.

He will be remembered for being a wonderful husband and loving father.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years of Lisbon, the former Tomiko Ishikawa of Okinawa, Japan, whom he married Sept. 28, 1962; a son, John Levesque of Lewiston; two daughters, Marie Violette, and husband, Marc, of Greene and Christine Searles, and husband, Ted, of Litchfield; his grandchildren, Nathan and Amanda Levesque, Cody, Kara and Connor Violette, Mikahla, Shyahn and Siarah Searles; a sister, Jackie Ouellette of Greene; his brothers and spouses, Paul and Helen of North Carolina, Emile and Glenice of Turner, Bert of Lisbon and D.J. and Diane of Auburn.

He was predeceased by a brother, Michael Levesque.
