LISBON FALLS – Anthony “Tony” J. Daigle, 75, of Free Street, died Tuesday, May 29, at his home.
He was born in Dexter July 27, 1931, the son of Joseph and Isabelle Clappett Daigle. He attended Dexter schools and graduated from Dexter High School.
He served 24 years in the Army and reserves attaining the rank of staff sergeant. He was a communications specialist serving in Vietnam, and was awarded a Purple Heart.
On May 13, 1972, he married Sandra Leavitt.
Surviving besides his wife of Lisbon Falls are seven sons, Steve, Robert, Michael, John and Dennis Daigle, all of Jacksonville, Fla., Skip Graham of Lisbon Falls and Tim Graham of Freeport; five daughters, Patricia Ward, Terry Greeley, both of Jacksonville, Fla., Vicky Cloutier of Durham, Cheryl Hale and Julie Chapman, both of Lisbon; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
