BRUNSWICK – Edwina D. St.Pierre, 73, of Maurice Drive, died Tuesday, May 29, at Mid Coast Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Brunswick, on May 31, 1933, the daughter of Alfred X. and Yvonne Fournier Belanger. She attended local schools.
On July 22, 1954, she married Robert J. St.Pierre in Brunswick, where they continued to make their home and raise their family.
She worked at the Eastland Shoe Factory in Freeport for more than 20 years, Servomation Food Service at Health Tex in Brunswick and then Bowdoin College in the food service department retiring in 1992, due to health reasons. In her spare time, she enjoyed her cat “Willie,” decorating cakes, pretty punch, ceramics, going for rides and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Donald, and his wife, Terry Belanger, of Topsham and Robert J., and his wife, Sherri St. Pierre, of Cundy’s Harbor; a daughter, Roseann M. Wenzler of Durham; a brother, George, and his wife, Florence Belanger, of Lewiston; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband on Sept. 24, 1985; and two sisters, Claire Bahlog and Theresa Raffeld.
