LIVERMORE FALLS – John I. Gross, 48, of Millett Street, Livermore Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 1, at his residence.
He was born in Skowhegan on June 15, 1958, the son of Alvin and Constance (Benjamin) Gross. He attended Central Elementary School in North New Portland and Carrabec High School in Anson.
On Feb. 14, 1988, he married Laura Rollins in West Peterborough, N.H.
He worked as a maintenance man for Four Season Property Management.
He loved and adored his daughters and his grandsons.
His hobbies were repairing cars, carpentry, metal work and machining. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and snowmobiling.
He is survived by his wife, Laura, of Livermore Falls; five daughters, Jessica Bachelder and her husband, John, of Farmington, and Natasha, Kaela, Whitney and Claireice Gross, all of Livermore Falls; four brothers, Jim Gross and his wife, Bonnie, of Madison, Jack Gross and his wife, Rachel, of North New Portland, Roger Gross of North New Portland, and Roy Gross of Farmington; a sister, Bonnie Tibbetts and her husband, Edward, of North New Portland; and two grandsons, Noah Bachelder and Isaiah Buckman.
He was predeceased by his parents; and two nephews, Robert Decker and Edward R. Tibbetts.
