I cannot believe the letter by Wanda Howard (May 27) about the “noise” military jets made over the River Valley.
This is our Air Force at work, to protect us in case something like 9/11 happens again. Are military officials supposed to keep the planes sitting on the ground?
I enjoyed listening to the planes as I stood out in the driveway to watch, and was proud of this country’s airmen and other armed forces.
How about the loud motorcycles, cars and trucks that make a lot of noise?
Noise is a reality. Life goes on.
If the noise bothers people so much, they should wear ear plugs.
Let the Air Force do their work, and be proud of our servicemen who are protecting this nation in the troubled world.
