Sheri L. Lauten was among 410 seniors receiving degrees from Roanoke College in Salem, Va., at its 165th commencement ceremony held May 5.

She received a bachelor of arts degree with a major in international relations; cum laude, Nu Chapter, Phi Beta Kappa Honor Program.

Lauten is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max T. Lauten Jr. of Poland and Mr. and Mrs. David M. Fontaine of Sabattus.
