FARMINGTON – Sean Haley, 24, of Rangeley pleaded guilty to charges of criminal conspiracy and criminal forfeiture of property Monday in Franklin County Superior Court.
Haley along with Joshua Brann, 19, occupants of a house on Route 4 in Rangeley, and Katie Webber, 18, were arrested in August 2006 after police discovered illegal drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia at the house.
Police received information regarding suspicious activity around the rented house. Certain items associated with drugs were found in the trash and turned over to the police by the owner of the house, the assistant district attorney told the court.
A total of $830 in cash was found during the search along with evidence of the manufacture of crack cocaine, Rangeley police Chief Phil Weymouth said at the time of the arrest.
Haley received a sentence of two years with all but four months suspended and two years probation. He was fined $400 on the first charge and ordered to remit the forfeiture of $830 to the state.
A misdemeanor charge of possession of unlawful scheduled drugs on Webber was filed Monday.
