LEWISTON – The Ladies of St. Ann Sodality of Holy Family recently honored Yvette Michaud as Sodalist of the Year at the Green Ladle Cafe. The Rev. Larry Laplante gave the blessings at the banquet. Michaud was crowned by Jeanne Pacheco, last year’s recipient.

She was presented several bouquets by family and friends. A plaque and a gift were presented by Claudette Jalbert from the membership. Claudette Jalbert provided a narration of Michaud’s family history, achievements in her church and community. She was also given letters written by her sons to honor their mother.

Attending the event were her four sons, Dr. Danny Michaud of Madawaska, David C. and Donald Michaud of Fort Kent and Dennis C. Michaud of Lewiston; sisters, Evelyn Fraser of Freeport and Anita Madore of Lewiston; granddaughters, Jennifer and Brian Morgan of Londonderry, N.H., and Melissa Michaud of Farmington; niece, Rita Madore; grandniece and nephews, Kimberly Nadeau, David and Ashley and baby, Madison Madore.

Entertainment was provided by Mark Morin.
