The Legislature has done it again. It has piggybacked all means of transportation into one giant bond issue. Some folks who favor elements of this bond, but not others, will have to say no to the whole package.

Whatever happened to repair money in every submitted budget to include capital improvements?

Cities and towns should be allowed to establish escrow accounts for big-ticket items. There are formulas which govern this concept.

Taxpayers must resolve that programs that have outlived their usefulness should be eliminated. Many other programs need to be adjusted to current conditions.

I will be voting on June 12. I challenge all Maine voters to vote.
