Area student named to All-Maine team
AUBURN – A student at Central Maine Community College has been named to the Maine Community College System All-Maine Academic Team.
Mark Castonguay of Livermore Falls, a student in the business administration program, was honored recently as one of 11 community college students named to the team.
The All-Maine Team recognizes the academic achievement, community involvement and leadership qualities of two-year college students. It is a division of the All-USA Academic Team for community and technical college students and is sponsored in part by Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society for two-year colleges.
Castonguay has earned highest honors at the college and serves as vice president of the Alpha Phi Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. He is a United Way volunteer and a licensed pharmacy technician.
