PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) – A New Hampshire man has been arrested in Maine on charges of possessing a large amount of crystal methamphetamine and a gun, city police said.

Portsmouth Police had been looking for Nicholas Yastek, 27, ever since he overdosed on a combination of illegal drugs in March. He was hospitalized in a coma, but police were unable to locate him after he walked out of Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Eventually, they tracked Yastek to a drug rehab center in Maine and arrested him yesterday. He is being held on $100,000 cash bail.

on charges of being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon and possessing drugs with the intention of selling them.
