GREENE – Jeanne Teacutter, of the South River Road in Greene, passed away early Saturday morning, June 9, at her home with her family at her side.

She was born in Lewiston on May 24, 1940, a daughter of Lucien and Elsie (Duchette) Morin.

She was educated in Lewiston schools and remained a lifelong resident of this community.

On April 19, 1958, she married Howard W. “Rusty” Teacutter. He passed away on May 6, 1992.

She worked primarily as a homemaker for many years as she and her husband, “Rusty,” raised their four children.

She was a member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul and in her later years was a busy and dedicated volunteer for the American Cancer Society at Central Maine Medical Center.

But, above all, her greatest joy was quality time spent with her children, grandchildren and family. She will be sadly missed.

She leaves behind her four children, Donald Teacutter and wife, Jo-Anne, of Greene, Danny Teacutter and wife, Linda, also of Greene, Linda Brewer and husband, Kevin, of Sabattus, and Lisa Pray and husband, Scott, of Auburn; 11 grandchildren, Audrey, Jeremy, Jamie, Rusty, Michael, Lindsey, Haley, Olivia, Danielle, Kyle, and Garrett; one great-granddaughter, Jasmine; her mother, Elsie Rush and husband, Richard, of Lewiston; five sisters, Pauline Chasse of Lewiston, Claudette King and husband, Sheldon, of Greene, Yvette Roux of Auburn, and Ray Roux of Greene, Diane Grimmell and husband, Mike, of Greene and Lorrie Dennis and husband, Peter, also of Greene; a brother, Richard Morin and wife, Jelaine, of Portland; her longtime companion, Dale Douglas of Brownfield; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Lucien Morin.
