MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – Police in Manchester are investigating the rapes of two women in two days.
Authorities says they’re searching for a man who forced his way into a woman’s Millyard apartment and attacked her at gunpoint early on Friday morning. Police say the man grabbed the 27-year-old woman as she was returning home from work at a bar. She escaped from the apartment and a passer-by called police.
Police say the second rape happened early Saturday morning. Officers found the woman in a park who said she had been assaulted. They say that woman told them she was at a bar with friends then left to go to an apartment.
Two other women reported rapes in the city last month.
