HOPKINTON, N.H. (AP) – Milfoil treatment is closing two lakes for about a week.

Swimmers won’t be able to use Hopkinton and Drew lakes while the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers applies treatments to reduce milfoil infestations in both. At Hopkinton Lake, Elm Brook Park beach will be closed June 13 to 21.

Drew Lake will be closed to swimmers June 14 to 21.
